The Executive Leadership Institute - An intensive training program that grooms aspiring mid-level public administrators for the rigors of executive management.
The Mentor Program - matching younger, less experienced administrators with seasoned executives. The Mentor Program supports the development of the next generation of black public leadership.
"Marks of Excellence Award" - a highlight of the NFBPA annual conference is the presentation of the "Marks of Excellence" award to a black public administrator who has made outstanding contributions to public service.
"Hall of Fame Award" - recognizes and honors Black Americans in public service whose accomplishments are worthy of emulation, and who serve as a source of inspiration and encouragement to others in public service.
Corporate Award - given to that corporation which, throughout the program year, has supported the organization with professional and financial resources.
